About the event
The String Quartet is unquestionably, this country’s leading chamber music ensemble. It tours internationally and is recorded on European labels. Last year’s sold out Arrowtown concert was such a huge success (one of ACAS’s very best), that the NZSQ group had no hesitation in saying “yes” when we asked them to add Arrowtown to an already announced South Island itinerary.
Behind every piece of music is a story and across their 2026 Season, the New Zealand String Quartet is diving into them. Join them at Arrowtown Lifestyle Village for an evening exploring a rich cross-section of compositional voices and celebrating the art of storytelling through music.
